REGISTER TO VOTE

Requirements:

If you need to register to vote, click here.

  • You must be a United States Citizen.

  • You must be at least 17 years old on or before the date of the Primary Election and turn 18 on or before the date of the General or Consolidated Election (16 year olds may preregister to vote).

  • You must live in your election precinct at least 30 days prior to Election Day.

  • You must not be serving a sentence of confinement in any penal institution as a result of a conviction.

  • You may not claim the right to vote anywhere else.

Get a copy of your actual ballot prior to voting day - so that you can decide who you would like to vote for.

MAIL IN BALLOTS

If you would like to request a mail-in ballot, for a single primary or election, click here (same link as to look up your sample ballot).

​If you get a mail-in ballot, it does NOT mean that you can't vote in person!  BUT - you MUST take that ballot with you and surrender it at your polling place to receive a regular in-person ballot.

Consider a mail-in ballot if:

You may be unable to vote in person, consider a mail in ballot

You might have concerns about someone posing as you and stealing your vote (they will be turned away at the ballot box, as the system will show that you have been mailed a ballot.
